Seinpost

On July 15, the 110 meter long self-propelled barge Seinpost went adrift on the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal near Breukelen, Netherlands. Local authorities were alerted to the barge drifting in the canal during the night.  They were able to wake up the master sleeping on board and the Seinpost was brought back to a quay.  An investigation found the Seinpost had been tied up to another vessel at the quay. When that vessel departed, it left the Seinpost unmoored. No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released.
