On May 22, the 63 meter long fishing vessel Ceton became disabled near Thyborøn, Denmark. The Centon had departed from Skagen when it suffered damage to its main engine. The crew attempted repairs, but were unable to get the engine working. Adrift, the trawler finally requested assistance on May 26.  The nearby DSRS lifeboat was dispatched to the scene, but found it was unable to take the large trawler under tow. A tug was dispatched and proceeded back to Thyborøn. No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released.
