Kiel Canal Collision

The 149 meter long, 17563 dwt tanker MCT Almak collided with the 100 meter long, 4635 dwt container ship ECL Challenger in the Kiel Canal at Fischerhütte, Germany.  The two vessels bumped with the sides of their hulls with little to no damage.  No reports of injuries or pollution being released.  The MCT Almak continued its voyage to Ventspils from Amsterdam while the ECL Challenger continued to Rotterdam from Gydnia.
