The 67 meter long self-propelled barge Theresia ran aground on the Weser near Minden, Germany. Loaded with 660 tons of pellets, the Theresia slammed into the river embankment after the master of the barge had suffered a heart attack. The only other crewman on board alerted authorities who dispatched an ambulance to the scene. No reports of damage. Reports state the master of the vessel perished.
