The 25 meter long tugboat Mons ran aground off the island of Airisto near Turku, Finland. The Mons had suffered rudder failure when it drifted aground. No reports of injuries to the three crew on board. Authorities arrived on scene and found there was some oil pollution around the tugboat. Booms were placed around the vessel and most of the pollution was hydraulic oil and was recovered by absorbent pads. Divers inspected the hull and found it remained intact.  The Mons was later refloated and was able to proceeded to Turku under its own power.
