The 448 gt trawler VLI-7 Eben Haezer became disabled while off Westpit, Netherlands. The trawler had suffered engine problems and contacted the KNRM who launched a lifeboat to the scene. Another fishing vessel attempted to connect a towline to the Eben Haezer, but the heavy swell made the process too difficult. The lifeboat was able to connect the towline and towed the Eben Haezer into port. No reports of injuries, damage or pollution being released.
