Molo Trader Aground

The 72 meter long, 1826 dwt freighter Molo Trader went aground in Myre harbour in Vesteralen, Norway.  The freighter suffered damage with a gash on the hull’s bottom along with damage to the propeller.   The rescue vessel Knut Hoem pulled the Molo Trader free and the freighter was safely moored.  None of the 5 crew on board were injured and no pollution was released.   Authorities are conducting an investigation into the incident.
